Questions are welcome. If anything is unclear or you just want to say hi, the office is right here. We would genuinely rather answer your question than have you wonder about it.

Start Here

Follow these in order and you’ll be settled in no time. Most take just a couple of minutes.

Resident Portal App

Use it to pay rent, communicate with the office, submit maintenance requests, and more.

Pay your rent

Your first payment was due August 1st, 2026. Your balance must be at $0.00 before we can release your door code. If it’s already paid, you’re good-go to Step 2.

Check your inbox for your door code

Once Step 1 is done, your door code is emailed to you-there’s nothing to pick up from the office. Don’t see it? Check your spam folder first, then come find us.

Move in at your assigned time

Find your building’s time above. Sticking to your window keeps the lots and stairwells clear for everyone arriving alongside you.

Move your car once you’re unloaded

Park wherever you need to while you unload-the lots are open and unpatrolled today. As soon as your car is empty, please move it to the east-most parking lot so the next residents can unload too. A small thing, but it makes a big difference for everyone moving in behind you.

Download the Resident Portal app

Steps 6 and 8 both happen in the app, so grab it now. Search “Resident Portal” in the App Store or Google Play, or use the Liberty on Eighth Resident Portal.

Set up automatic payments

In the Resident Portal, turn on automatic payments. This keeps you on time every month with zero effort, and it’s the easiest way to never think about a late fee again.

Follow us on social media

It’s the fastest way to hear about resident events, giveaways, and what’s happening around the property. Come say hi-we’d love to see you there.

Complete your move-in inspection

Also in the Resident Portal, under the Maintenance tab or the notification bell. Walk your unit and note anything that needs attention. You have 48 hours from move-in to report any damage you find. Take photos before you unpack, and submit a non-emergency work order for anything that needs fixing. This protects you, so please don’t skip it.

Your Mailing Address

[Your Building Address], Unit _____, Provo, UT 84606

If you do not use this address, you will not receive mail or packages.
The office does not accept packages, so please don’t have them delivered here.

Key Fobs & Amenities

Key fobs will be distributed the first week of September. Until then, all of our amenities will be open during office hours, so come on in and enjoy them.

To pick up your key fob, bring your ID to the front office. That’s all it takes-we’ll get you set up while you’re there.

Parking

If you waited until move-in day to secure parking, it’s too late. Parking passes are limited and are assigned by lease sign date-they aren’t handed out on move-in day. If you don’t already have one, you’ll be placed on the waitlist until a spot opens up.

Today only: park anywhere on the property while you unload. The lots will not be patrolled. After move-in day, you must have an active pass to park in any of our lots-no exceptions. Any vehicle without one is subject to booting or towing.

On the waitlist, or not registered yet? Create an account at utahparkpass.com/cws and apply for a permit-double-check your license plate. Then come see us at the office so we can tell you exactly where you stand. Passes are not transferable, and only working vehicles are allowed; broken-down cars are towed after 30 days.

Property Map

Review the Liberty on Eighth property map before arrival so you know where to unload and where to move your vehicle afterward.

Do Not Pack List

Not Allowed at Liberty on Eighth. To keep everyone safe and stay within fire code, please leave these items at home.

Open Flames & Fire Hazards

  • Candles (unless you have written approval)
  • Incense burners
  • Kerosene lamps or heaters
  • Large gas or kerosene space heaters
  • Fire pits or portable grills for balconies
  • Outdoor grills for balcony use
  • Hazardous or flammable materials (propane tanks, gasoline)
  • Fireworks or explosives
  • Non-standard cooking devices (outdoor fryers, large smokers)

Water & Large Appliances

  • Aquariums (unless specifically allowed-many leases ban large water furniture)
  • Water beds or water furniture
  • Personal washing machines
  • Large exercise equipment

Smoking & Weapons

  • Hookahs, vapes, or bongs-smoking and vaping indoors is prohibited
  • Weapons or BB guns

  • Pet bedding, cages, or litter boxes
  • Feeding supplies for stray or wild animals

Other

  • Large storage bins that block passageways
Decorating: It’s your home-make it your own! We just ask that you don’t alter the apartment itself. That includes paint, new light fixtures, and anything that can’t be easily removed. And remember it’s a shared space, so be respectful of what makes your roommates comfortable.

Wi-Fi & Routers

Liberty on Eighth provides your Wi-Fi connection, but we do not provide routers.

Your apartment has an Ethernet port in the wall that provides the internet connection, but that port alone won’t give you wireless internet. To create a Wi-Fi network for your phone, laptop, and other devices, you’ll need your own router.

Think of the router as the device that takes the internet signal from the Ethernet port and turns it into Wi-Fi that all your devices can connect to wirelessly. Without one, you’d only be able to get online through a physical Ethernet cable-which most phones and many laptops can’t use.

Not everyone in your unit needs to bring a router. Coordinate with your roommates to decide who will provide the one router for your apartment.

A note on Google Fiber: Some units may have Google Fiber ports installed. Google Fiber is an optional, separate service you’d set up and pay for on your own. We are not affiliated with Google Fiber and can’t help with their service or equipment. If you choose to use it, you’ll need to provide your own router for that service too.
