QUICK TIPS

MOVE INS CAN BE STRESSFUL
To make your move-in experience as smooth as possible, here are some quick tips:

CLEAR YOUR BALANCE
Log in to your Resident Portal to verify that your account balance is $0.00. This step will help expedite the key collection process.

BRING YOUR ID
Please bring your ID to the office so that we can check you into the system. You will not be considered moved in if this is not completed!

FLEXIBILITY FOR LATE ARRIVAL
If you are unable to arrive on Friday, August 26th, no worries at all! Our office hours will be extended throughout the move-in period. You can drop by anytime during office hours on any subsequent day, and our team will be more than happy to assist you.

FAQs

WHAT IS THE MOVE-IN DATE AND TIME?

Move-ins start Friday, August 26th. If you bought a renewal contract, move-ins will be on Monday Aug 18th, 2025 and you can move in at any time from 9am to 5pm.

WHEN WILL I FIND OUT WHAT APARTMENT I'M IN AND WHO MY ROOMMATES ARE?

An email will be sent out shortly with your unit and roommate information.

WILL THERE BE ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE ON THE MOVE-IN DAY?

Yes there will be! Our maintenance team and office staff will be here all day to help out.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE KEYS?

You will receive and email on the day of move in August 26th at 9am. If you have a balance on your account you will not receive and email. If you don’t receive your door code, please come find an employee and we will help you!

CAN I MOVE IN EARLIER OR LATER THAN THE DESIGNATED MOVE-IN DATE?

As of now, we don’t have any leeway for early move- ins. If there is a special circumstance, contact the office staff and we’ll see what we can do to make accommodations. For late move-ins, as long as rent has been paid before the late date, residents can choose to move in at whatever date post August 26th. Please make sure to check into the office so that we can officially move you into our system!

WHERE DO I FIND MY MOVE-IN INSPECTION?

Move-in inspections can be found in your Resident Portal under the Maintenance tab or by clicking the bell icon for notifications. You have 48 hours after your move-in to report any damages you find in your unit. Here is a QR code to the Resident Portal to make it easy for you to access.

IS THERE A DESIGNATED PARKING AREA FOR MOVING VEHICLES DURING MOVE-IN?

Our parking lots will be open on August 25th for move-ins. If you don’t have a parking pass, please only park your car in the parking lot during your designated move in time.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON THE ITEMS I CAN BRING WITH ME?

We don’t have a specific list of prohibited items. However, if you believe you might be bringing something that may take up a lot of space or affect your roommates, please communicate with those in your apartment.

CAN I HAVE FRIENDS OR FAMILY MEMBERS HELP ME WITH THE MOVE-IN PROCESS?

Absolutely! However, please remember that there will be a lot of new residents moving in, so too many people assisting might slow the process down, rather than speed it up.

HOW DO I ADDRESS ANY DAMAGES OR ISSUES I NOTICE UPON MOVING IN?

Take pictures before moving any personal belongings into the apartment of any damages. You can email them to freedom@redstoneresidential.com. If there are any damages in your apartment, please submit a non-emergency work order on your resident portal.

ARE THERE ANY RULES OR RESTRICTIONS ON DECORATING OR PERSONALIZING MY ROOM/APARTMENT?

It’s your home, make it your own! We just ask that you don’t do anything to alter the apartment itself. This includes paint, new lighting fixtures, and anything that cannot be easily removed. Also please keep in mind that your apartment is a shared space with those also living there. Be respectful of your roommates and what makes them comfortable.

Liberty on Freedom provides your Wi-Fi connection, but we do not provide routers.

Your apartment has an Ethernet port in the wall that provides the internet connection. But that connection by itself isn’t enough to get Wi-Fi for your devices like your phone, laptop, or tablet. To create a Wi-Fi network in your apartment, you’ll need your own router.

Think of the router as the device that takes the internet signal from the Ethernet port and turns it into WiFi that all your devices can connect to wirelessly. Without a router, you’d only be able to connect to the internet if your device has an Ethernet cable — which most phones and many laptops don’t.

Please note: Not everyone will need to bring a router. We encourage you to coordinate with your roommates to determine if one of you will need to provide a router for your unit, as Liberty on Freedom does not supply routers.

Additionally, some units may have Google Fiber ports installed. Please be aware that Google Fiber is an optional, extra service that you would need to set up and pay for separately if you choose to use it. We are not affiliated with Google Fiber and cannot provide any assistance with their service or equipment. If you choose to use Google Fiber, we ask that you provide your own router for that service.

Please also note that you cannot opt out of the community communication fee, as it is a required part of your lease agreement.
